1/2 X 2 1/16 X 5 5/16 " Square galvanized u-bolt axle tie plate kit. ***CORROSION RESISTANT*** This hot dip galvanized u-bolt kit will attach the axle and trailer leaf springs together in a standard leaf spring suspension system. When attaching an axle and springs, the galvanized u-bolts go around the axle on either side of the leaf spring and the tie plate goes around the spring to hold it securely to the axle.
One galvanized u-bolt tie plate kit will do one complete axle with two leaf springs.
***CORROSION RESISTANT*** Hot dip galvanized u-bolts are extremely corrosion resistant. They will withstand submersion in both fresh and salt water with minimal rust or corrosion.
A galvanized u-bolt generally has a strength rating of Grade 2. Grade 2 bolts are a standard hardware grade steel suitable for most applications that do not require a specially strength rated bolt.
